RULES & REGULATIONS 'NO HELMET NO RIDE'

1.  REMEMBER it is not a race. Be a good advert for cycling and show consideration to other road users - even if they don't respect your space.

2. Every cyclist shall comply with the instructions of a marshal and/or a traffic officer.

3. A cyclist may not use a personal music system or a radio communication device, including a cellular phone.

4. Keep your distance from other cyclists at all times, as some may be inexperienced.

5.  Participant age below 18yrs is required to complete the Parental Consent column.

6. A child cyclist under the age of 12 years shall ride with an accompanying adult at all times.

7. Every cyclist shall be responsible to other cyclists for the proper control of his or her bicycle.

8. A cyclist shall not use foul language and body contact.

9. No cyclist shall dispose of any litter along the course except in refuse bins.

10. A cyclist may not participate whilst under the influence of alcohol or any drug or medication that prevents or might prevent a cyclist from properly controlling his or her bicycle.

11. All riders with a medical condition or unsure of their physical ability to take part in the bike ride are advised to take medical advice from a general practitioner prior to the event.

12. Participants in this event are at their own risk. SMS BikePlus (M) Sdn Bhd, organizers and their employees, volunteers and assistants shall not be liable to any cyclist or other person claiming on behalf of a cyclist for damage to property, personal injury or death caused before, during or after the fun ride, whether such damage to property, personal injury or death was caused with the negligence or gross negligence of the SMS BikePlus (M) Sdn Bhd, organizers and their employees, volunteers and assistants and shall not be liable for any claim for contribution or indemnification in this regard. PERATURAN & SYARAT 'NO HELMET NO RIDE' 1. PERINGATAN ia bukan satu perlumbaan. Jadilah satu contoh baik untuk sukan berbasikal dan menunjukkan pertimbangan yang sewajarnya bagi para pengguna jalan raya lain - sekalipun mereka tidak menghormati ruang anda. 2. Peserta perlu mematuhi arahan-arahan yang diberikan oleh marsyal atau polis trafik yang bertugas. 3. Peserta tidak dibenarkan mengguna sistem muzik peribadi atau peranti komunikasi radio, termasuk handphone. 4. Pastikan jarak anda dari penunggang basikal lain pada sepanjang masa, kerana sesetengah daripada mereka mungkin masih baru dalam bidang ini. 5. Peserta di bawah 18 tahun perlulah mendapatkan kebenaran daripada Ibu/Bapa terlebih dahulu dengan mendatangani borang kebenaran sebelum memulakan acara kayuhan ini. 6. Penunggang basikal kanak-kanak yang berumur bawah 12 tahun perlulah diiringi oleh orang dewasa pada sepanjang masa. 7. Setiap penunggang basikal bertanggungjawab memastikan keselamatan diri sendiri dan juga penunggang basikal lain.   8. Peserta dilarang sama sekali menggunakan sebarang kekasaran dan termasuk bahasa dan pelakuan. 9. Peserta dilarang membuang sampah merata-rata / sesuka hati, kecuali di tong sampah atau tempat khas yang telah disediakan. 10. Peserta yang dibawah pengaruh alkohol, dadah dan ubat-ubatan tidak dibenarkan menyertai acara ini. 11. Membuat pemeriksaan perubatan untuk memastikan peserta sihat dan layak untuk mengambil bahagian dalam acara ini. 12. Peserta juga bersetuju bahawa pihak penganjur - SMS BikePlus (M) Sdn Bhd tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas kecederaan atau kematian serta apa-apa kerosakkan harta benda kami atau harta benda pihak lain yang berlaku semasa acara ini berlangsung.
